Somatic Movement Therapy Group
Begins January 15th, 2026 — Online on Zoom
***LIMITED SPOTS***
The Somatic Movement Therapy Group offers a safe and compassionate space to explore personal themes and challenges through the creative intelligence of the body, while being in relationship with others on their own healing journeys.
Rooted in the principles of dance movement therapy, embodiment, and mindful movement, this group is for anyone seeking a deeper, embodied connection with their inner self, within a shared container.
Together, we will engage in a bottom-up approach to healing, recognizing that mind, body, emotions, and spirit exist on a continuous, interwoven spectrum. Through practices drawn from somatic awareness and movement-based healing, participants will be invited to deepen self-understanding, expand capacity, and (re)connect with their innate resilience.
This group is ideal for anyone wishing to cultivate a more meaningful relationship with themselves in a therapeutic, movement-centered environment that supports both personal reflection and the richness of collective process.
Contact me for more information.
Group closes at 8 participants.
Private Somatic Movement Therapy
Online
For those seeking individualized support in navigating life’s challenges from a holistic, body-based perspective, I offer private Somatic Movement Therapy sessions virtually—available to clients anywhere in the world. My trauma-informed approach weaves together principles from somatic therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, Laban and Bartenieff Movement Systems, and a wide range of embodiment and somatic healingpractices.
Within a safe, supportive therapeutic container, we explore your challenges, obstacles, psychophysical history, and areas of desired growth through a bottom-up healing approach that honors the interconnectedness of body, mind, and emotion. Sessions may include elements of somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, movement-based exploration, and practices that support somatic trauma release and deeper mind–body integration.
If you’d like to learn whether this type of embodied, somatic work is right for you, contact me to book a free consultation.
Authentic Movement NYC Retreat
Stay tuned for the Spring 2026 dates!
The Authentic Movement Retreat is an invitation to come home to yourself and to your body, through mindful movement and somatic connection.
During the course of two full days in the heart of NYC, we explore what it means to nourish the bodymind, support emotional release, cultivate inner awareness, and restore holistic well-being through movement, mindfulness, and embodied presence.
We practice deep listening, to ourselves and to one another, creating space for what lives beyond words to move through us.
With presence and surrender, we invite the unseen and the unfelt to take form through the body, co-creating a space for empathy, authenticity, and connection.|
Whether you are a seasoned dancer or someone who has never before entered a movement space, this work is for you. It is for anyone wanting to practice yielding to life, foster emotional healing, and find a deeper connection to themselves and the wisdom of their body in a safe and supportive environment.
Embodiment through Dance Movement Therapy
Ongoing drop-in Class
Mondays and Saturdays, 12pm
Gibney Dance Studios, 280 Broadway, NYC
Curious about DMT? Join me every Monday and Saturday in my “Embodiment through Dance Movement Therapy” class! This class is designed to offer a space for participants to experience Dance Movement Therapy as a means to engage with their inner worlds, explore their relationship to their own sense of embodiment, and uncover that which exists in the depths of their bodies' innate wisdom and knowing. This is all done in a safe, curious, playful, non-competitive, and creative environment, designed to provide support, healing, and different perspectives on movement, what movement is and how it wants to express itself in each of us, and each person's intrinsic relationship to it.
