Working with me:

In my work as a Somatic Movement Coach and Educator, heavily informed by my professional training as a Dance Movement Therapist, I create a space where speaking, movement, creativity, and embodied awareness coexist, allowing the body, mind, and inner life to enter into dialogue. It is in this space of acknowledgment and active involvement of the whole self - cognitive, emotional, physical, and creative - that true and meaningful change occurs.

I am dedicated to meeting my clients where they are, guiding their process from a stance of unconditional positive regard, respect, openness, and deep compassion.
Over time, I have witnessed my clients develop kinder relationships with themselves, greater trust in their inner experience, and the capacity to stay with difficult emotions with more openness and compassion. Through this process of embodied self-discovery, I have also witnessed clients find new ways of working with long standing patterns, deepen their connection to themselves and others, and find the courage to make meaningful and long desired changes in their lives.

What does it look like?

My work is experiential and body-based, utilizing embodiment and movement as tools for initiating change and bringing holistic healing to our cognitive, physical, and emotional selves. It rests on the belief that the body and the mind are not separate but rather intrinsically connected. Given this interdependence, any desired changes in our cognitive and emotional landscapes rest on us bringing awareness to our bodies and bodily patterns.

Unlike exclusively talk-based coaching, my work focuses on physically moving through the challenges we are facing, addressing how they are informed by and affect our body. Through a combination of moving, speaking, imagery work, creativity, and practicing somatically informed mindfulness, my work seeks to address that which challenges my clients in a holistic and wholesome way, bringing from conscious awareness into movement and active change that which has been laying in the unconscious layers of their experience.
